After studying ceramics in Faenza, Italy, Caroline Egleston set up her Piccolpasso Workshop in Hampshire, UK. She has been making tile scapes for 25 years, undertaking commissions for interior spaces in the UK and Europe, also in the USA.

Currently working on her MA in Ceramics at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey, Caroline is looking more closely at the painterly ceramic surface and at the concept of ‘gesture’, both on the surface and as a form of communication.
